The Coriolis Mass Flow Meter is an advanced, high-precision device designed to measure mass flow, density, and temperature of liquids and gases directly. Leveraging the Coriolis principle, it ensures highly accurate and reliable data, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial applications such as chemical processing, oil & gas, food & beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
Introduction
The Coriolis Mass Flowmeter, abbreviated as Coriolis Force Flowmeter, measures the flow rate by utilizing the principle that the flow of fluid in a vibrating tube generates a Coriolis force proportional to the mass flow rate.
The Coriolis Force Flowmeter consists of two major parts: the sensor and the transmitter. The sensor is used for detecting the flow signal and is mainly composed of the flowing fluid, the sensitive tube, the driving/detection coil, the driving/detection magnet, as shown in Figure 1.

The transmitter is used for driving the sensor, converting and processing the flow detection signals, as well as displaying the flow and outputting the signals. The transmitter mainly consists of circuits for power supply, driving, detection, display, etc.
The sensitive tube swings under the action of force, thereby generating a sine wave. When the flow is zero, both pipes vibrate in phase.
When there is flow, the Coriolis force causes the pipes to bend, thereby causing a phase shift. Test
Measure the time difference between sinusoidal waves. At this time, the difference is proportional to the mass flow rate.

The volumetric flow rate is calculated based on the mass flow rate and the density measurement results.
