How to correctly choose the material of electromagnetic flow meter

1. The selection of electrode materials General electrode materials are divided into the following types:

a. Stainless steel. It is suitable for nitric acid, sulfuric acid less than 5% at room temperature, boiling phosphoric acid, formic acid, alkali solution, sulfuric acid, seawater, acetic acid under certain pressure.

B. Hastelloy b, Hastelloy C. Can be used for seawater, salt water.

c. Titanium. Applicable to seawater, all kinds of chlorides and subchlorinated hydrochloric acid, oxidizing acid (including fuming nitric acid), organic acid, alkali, etc.

d. Tantalum. In addition to hydrofluoric acid, fuming sulfuric acid, alkali other chemical media, including boiling point hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and < 175℃ sulfuric acid can be used.

e. Platinum. Can be used for all kinds of acids, bases, salts, but not including aqua regia.

2. Another important material choice of the electromagnetic flowmeter is: how to accurately select the lining material. It must be noted that the lining material should be selected according to the erosion, wear and temperature of the measured medium.

a. Rubber. It has excellent elasticity, high tearing force, good wear resistance, corrosion resistance to general weak acid and weak alkali, and can measure water, sewage, mud and pulp.

b. Polyamine. It has excellent wear resistance, poor acid and alkali resistance, and can measure neutral and strong wear of coal slurry, mud and pulp.

c. Polytetrafluoroethylene. Resistance to boiling hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, aqua Regis, concentrated alkali and various organic solvents, wear resistance is good, poor bonding function.
