1. The influence of steam and fog on ultrasonic level meter: when the working ambient temperature is very high, the liquid medium is easy to produce steam or fog, because the steam is lighter than the air, it floats to the top of the tank, forming a layer of steam layer that absorbs and scatters ultrasonic pulses. The influence of the steam layer on the measurement can be reduced or weakened by adding a static pipe.

2. Foam influence on ultrasonic level meter: In the process of measuring liquid level with ultrasonic level meter, foam interference is often encountered. According to the properties of foam can be divided into: dry, wet, neutral, heavy four. Dry foam and wet foam can reflect ultrasonic waves back, so it has no effect on the measurement with ultrasonic level meter. Neutral foam will absorb and diffuse part of the ultrasonic wave, which will weaken the ultrasonic reflection, resulting in instability of the echo. Therefore, when the surface of the medium is thick and thick foam, the measurement error of the ultrasonic level meter will be larger, and even cannot be measured. In the case of serious interference, the ultrasonic level meter can be shielded from foam interference by installing static tubes.

3. The effect of stirring on ultrasonic level meter: the on-site container is often stirred, and the liquid fluctuation is relatively large, affecting the measurement of ultrasonic level meter; In this case, the speed of the agitator can be appropriately reduced, or the probe can be deviated from the mixing center; Static tubes can also be installed to effectively eliminate the effect of stirring on liquid level measurement due to stirrer humidity sensor probes, stainless steel electric tubes,PT100 sensors, fluid solenoid valves, cast aluminum heaters, heating rings.

4. The impact of the blind area on the ultrasonic level meter: the blind area of the ultrasonic level meter, just like the human eye, the blind area is when the object is very close to the eye, but it is not clear, this distance is called the blind area. The blind area of the ultrasonic level meter varies according to the range. If the range is small, the blind area is small; if the range is large, the blind area is large. Therefore, the highest liquid level required to be measured must not be higher than the blind area of the ultrasonic level meter.

5. The influence of pressure and temperature on the ultrasonic level meter: First of all, the speed of sound cannot be transmitted in a vacuum, and the essence of ultrasound is a sound wave, and it is a mechanical wave, so it can not be transmitted in a vacuum. Secondly, it is the temperature, although the parameters of the ultrasonic level meter have a maximum pressure value, but with the increase of temperature, the maximum pressure value will be reduced accordingly, so pay attention to this parameter when selecting.
