clamp on water ultrasonic flow meter

External clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters are now widely used in many fields, such as waterworks, seawater, sewage treatment plants, diesel plants, chemical plants, and so on. However, for the values measured by this instrument to be accurate, the basic condition is correct installation. So, what are the requirements for the installation of external clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters?

When the ultrasonic flowmeter experiences unstable signals and inaccurate readings during operation, many users tend to think that there is a problem with the ultrasonic flowmeter sensor. However, this is not always the case. Today, Aister Instruments, a flowmeter manufacturer, will explain to you the reasons why the ultrasonic flowmeter sensor is good but the flow rate is low or there is no flow rate fault.

The accuracy of ultrasonic flowmeters in measuring fluid flow is closely related to the on-site working conditions. When selecting the position of the probe equipment, the following conditions should be met:

When installing the probe of the external clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter, it is advisable to select the part with the finest pipe material as much as possible. The equipment area outside the pipe must be clean, and the rust and paint on the pipe surface need to be removed. If conditions permit, use a grinding machine to smooth and polish it, and then use a clean cloth dipped in acetone or alcohol to wipe off the oil stains and dust Next, apply a satisfactory coupling agent to the central part of the probe and the tube wall.

Ultrasonic flowmeters can be used to measure the flow of fluids and large pipe runoff that are not easily accessible. In practical applications, if the temperature, pressure, the nature of the medium and other conditions are different from the calibration, it is necessary to calibrate the ultrasonic flowmeter, today we talk about the calibration method.

The correct selection of ultrasonic flowmeter can ensure the better use of ultrasonic flowmeter. What kind of ultrasonic flowmeter should be selected should be determined according to the physical and chemical properties of the measured flow medium. Today, flowmeter manufacturers tell you what to pay attention to before choosing ultrasonic flowmeter

Ultrasonic flowmeter in the use of the following faults, we can according to the method given in the article to solve.

Ultrasonic flowmeter installation, easy maintenance, cost-effective. However, no matter how good the flowmeter is, it also needs special attention in daily use. Otherwise, it will affect the measuring accuracy and service life of the flowmeter. Today, flowmeter manufacturer Aister meter mainly explains the maintenance and maintenance of ultrasonic flowmeters as follows.

External clamp ultrasonic flowmeter is a very suitable for pipe full pipe measurement flow meter, with easy installation, non-contact type, can measure the medium flow of large pipe diameter can also be used for measuring the medium that is not easy to contact and observe.

Ultrasonic flowmeter has the advantages of easy installation and maintenance and low price. So in the large pipe measurement has an unusual position, but today’s flow meter manufacturer Aister instrument Xiaobian will say that the ultrasonic flow meter is not a separate product, according to different installation methods, there are several categories. In this paper, the selection points of each different ultrasonic flowmeter are introduced in detail.

Ultrasonic flowmeter has the advantage of its working principle. In the large pipeline water flow measurement has a large proportion, today the ultrasonic flowmeter manufacturer Aister for the installation method and main points of the external clamp ultrasonic flowmeter for you to make the following explanation.

Ultrasonic flowmeters are instruments that measure flow by detecting the effect of fluid flow on an ultrasonic beam (or ultrasonic pulse). The ultrasonic flowmeter is mainly composed of an ultrasonic transducer (or an ultrasonic flow sensor composed of a transducer and a measuring tube) and a transducer mounted on the measuring pipe.

Ultrasonic flowmeter is a non-contact flow measuring instrument, which has developed rapidly in the past 20 years and has become an indispensable flowmeter in flow measuring instruments.

Ultrasonic flowmeters are well-suited for measuring the flow of clean liquids in a variety of industrial applications. Clean liquids, such as water, chemicals, or other non-viscous fluids, allow ultrasonic signals to propagate through the medium more effectively, resulting in accurate flow measurements. Here are some considerations for using ultrasonic flowmeters with clean liquids:

In the energy sector, particularly in the oil and gas industry, ultrasonic flow meters are widely used to measure the flow rates of hydrocarbons in pipelines. These meters offer a non-intrusive solution for accurately monitoring oil and gas flows, ensuring precise measurement without the need for cutting into pipelines. The ability to operate in challenging environments, such as high-pressure pipelines, makes ultrasonic flow meters suitable for upstream and downstream applications, providing essential data for process control and optimization.
