How to calibrate the ultrasonic flowmeter
Ultrasonic flowmeters can be used to measure the flow of fluids and large pipe runoff that are not easily accessible. In practical applications, if the temperature, pressure, the nature of the medium and other conditions are different from the calibration, it is necessary to calibrate the ultrasonic flowmeter, today we talk about the calibration method.
Ultrasonic flowmeter volumetric method calibration method:
1. Stop the pump after filling the reservoir with water before calibration, and then close all the inlet and drainage channels.
2. Use a tape measure or steel rule to accurately measure the water level H1 of the reservoir before the pump is pumped.
3, start the pump pumping, at the same time with a stopwatch timing, the instrument can start timing.
4, according to the predetermined time, stop the pump, and measure the water level at the same place of the reservoir again.
5, according to the volume formula and measurement data and the specific gravity of water, correctly calculate the total amount of water pumped in the calibration time and instantaneous flow.
6, the actual amount of water pumped compared with the cumulative value of the ultrasonic flowmeter, you can calculate the system error rate of the flowmeter calibration.
