how to install ultrasonic flow meter

For industrial and mining enterprises with relatively old pipelines, it is advisable not to use the 2-layer acoustic layer (V method) for sensor installation. Instead, the 1-layer acoustic layer (Z method) should be selected. This installation method makes the ultrasonic waves emitted by the flow sensor of the ultrasonic flowmeter easily received by the measured flow sensor, ensuring the signal strength of the ultrasonic flowmeter’s main unit and guaranteeing high-precision measurement values.

When installing ultrasonic flowmeters, the requirements for the straight pipe section are very crucial. This is mainly because the straight pipe section can ensure that the fluid flow state through the flowmeter is stable and uniform, thereby improving the measurement accuracy. The following is a detailed analysis of the requirements for the straight pipe section of ultrasonic flowmeters:

External clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters are now widely used in many fields, such as waterworks, seawater, sewage treatment plants, diesel plants, chemical plants, and so on. However, for the values measured by this instrument to be accurate, the basic condition is correct installation. So, what are the requirements for the installation of external clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters?

After the fluid passes through the elbow of the ultrasonic flowmeter, the downstream flow velocity distribution is distorted. If two adjacent planar elbow pipes are distorted, in addition to the distortion of the flow velocity distribution, vortices will also occur. This phenomenon can affect the measurement values of most types of flow meters in downstream devices (except for a few types such as volumetric ones), so it is usually necessary to install a straight pipe section of a certain length before the flow meter installation point to improve the flow situation entering the meter.

The installation of ultrasonic flowmeter is relatively simple and fast compared with other meters. However, the flowmeter manufacturer has to remind you that no matter how well the flowmeter is installed, it should also follow the installation requirements during the installation process.

Ultrasonic flowmeter is cost-effective, easy to install and maintain. Today, flowmeter manufacturer Aister meter makes the following guidance for you on the installation of ultrasonic flowmeter.

Everyone must master the installation method when installing the ultrasonic flow meter, if the installation error will directly cause the ultrasonic flow meter damage, today the flow meter manufacturer Aister instrument Xiaobian detail about the specific installation requirements.

The installation of the ultrasonic flowmeter is simple and convenient in the installation of all flowmeters, as long as you choose a suitable measuring point, input the pipe parameters at the measuring point into the flowmeter, and then fix the probe on the pipe. Today, flowmeter manufacturer Aister instrument makes the following analysis for you on this topic.

When installing the ultrasonic flow meter, it is necessary to determine the installation position first, so that the ultrasonic flow can be better measured. Today, flowmeter manufacturer Aister meter mainly makes the following explanation for the probe position selection of ultrasonic flowmeter, everyone remember to collect.

In the face of many types of ultrasonic flowmeters, users should choose a reasonable selection according to the actual situation and measurement needs. Today, the flowmeter manufacturer Aister meter gives you a detailed introduction to the selection of ultrasonic flowmeters with different installation methods.

What are the common failures caused by improper installation of ultrasonic flowmeter? Today, flowmeter manufacturer Aister meter collected the fault performance and treatment methods, and it can be collected if necessary.

Ultrasonic flowmeter in view of different installation methods, then the requirements for installation are also different, today the flowmeter manufacturer Aister meter mainly for the installation requirements of different installation methods of ultrasonic flowmeter, for you to make the following explanation.

Ultrasonic flowmeter has the advantage of its working principle. In the large pipeline water flow measurement has a large proportion, today the ultrasonic flowmeter manufacturer Aister for the installation method and main points of the external clamp ultrasonic flowmeter for you to make the following explanation.

Ultrasonic flowmeters are instruments that measure flow by detecting the effect of fluid flow on an ultrasonic beam (or ultrasonic pulse). The ultrasonic flowmeter is mainly composed of an ultrasonic transducer (or an ultrasonic flow sensor composed of a transducer and a measuring tube) and a transducer mounted on the measuring pipe.
