Several typical installation errors of electromagnetic flowmeters:

1, the flow measurement value fluctuates greatly

Question: Have you ever encountered a situation where the measurement results keep bouncing and cannot be stabilized?

Analysis: Most of the reasons for this situation are because there is a pump next to the flow meter at the installation site. When the medium passes through the flow, it is in a turbulent state, and the pump will interfere with the flow meter measurement, resulting in unstable measurement results.

Solution: Install the flow meter in an environment away from interference factors such as pumps, and ensure the length of the straight pipe section to ensure fluid stability.

2, the measurement value is inaccurate

Problem: The measurement results are not accurate, and sometimes there will be air traffic control alarm and lower limit alarm.

Analysis: The medium is not satisfied with the tube. If the flow meter wants to measure accurately, it must ensure that the medium is full.

Solution: Work process change to ensure that the medium is full tube.

3, the flow meter is damaged

Problem: The flow meter is flooded and damaged.

Analysis: The flowmeter is in the situation of long-term immersion, and the protection level is not suitable.

Solution: In the installation of the flow meter in long-term immersion water, we must choose the protection level of IP68, otherwise the electromagnetic flow meter will really break.

Aister instrument for you to introduce these three more typical installation problems, I believe there are some other problems in the field, if you encounter other problems that can not be solved about the electromagnetic flowmeter, you can contact Aister instrument at any time, we are ready to answer for you.
